Portfolio Federico Garcia Lorca - Graphic by Lindström
Bengt Lindström
was born in Northern Sweden in 1925. He spent several years of his life in France and was one of the most established exponents of scandinavian contemporary art. His art is characterized by figuratively abstract painting carried out with sharply delineated contours in thick layers of oil colour. His works often reflect the antagonisms of nature and human relationships such as good-evil or warm-cold.
Another focal point of the artist's work was formed by the graphic arts. His lithographs display thin delineations and brighter colours. Lindström's works are internationally exhibited in galleries and museums, including recent exhibitions in Toulouse and Bremen. He died in 2008.
