It offers a forum with a new format for the presentation of exhibitions of contemporary art and intercultural projects in the center of Berlin. The changing exhibitions show painting, photography and graphic by international and Berlin based contemporary artists. "art place berlin" looks back on more than three years of successful cooperation with artists, curators and institutions. Before that, more than 100 exhibition projects were implemented in the former 'Art Center Berlin Friedrichstrasse' >>
from the opening in 2005 until its closing in 2010.
Now at 'art place berlin' more than 30.000 guests and visitors monthly from all over the world will experience an encounter with current international art. This makes an exhibition project at 'art place berlin' to one of the most visible and most frequented exhibitions of contemporary art in the city. In the Park Inn at the Alexanderplatz, the most dynamically developing hub of Berlin, the presentation of contemporary art has reached a new dimension with high public appeal.
