"I construct emotional images-symbols and aspire that in my work they are ambiguous, mysterious, but clearly readable. In some works I create a situation of uncertainty, a flowing transition of the image-symbol from one state to another, as sign of conversion and exchange of modern and ancient cultures of East and West. On visits to India, Tibet, Myanmar, I studied painting techniques, but my work is based on European education. I love the Russian avant-garde of the 20's of the 20th Century and the German Bauhaus school of the 20's to the 30's."

1984 - Graduated from Moscow Textile University, faculty of applied art

1991 - Member of the Moscow Artists Union
