BEATRICE SCHNEIDERREIT

Beatrice Schneiderreit was born on July 7, 1938 in Berlin. Her artistic talent was discovered and promoted by the artist Henry Gowa, for whom she worked as a studio assistant.
After establishing her first own studio in Berlin many successful exhibitions in Germany and Francefollowed. Schneiderreit became member of the professionnal organisation of visual artists (Berufsverband Bildender Künstler), of the Bauhaus-Archive Berlin and of the German Work Federation (Dt. Werkbund) Berlin.
Because of her success in France she received the silver medal of the Académie des Arts-Sciences-Lettres de Paris and became a member herself.
